An Energy Assurance Plan has been completed through funding provided by the U.S. DOE LEAP grant program. The plan outlines the procedures for the city to follow to ensure a reliable energy supply for critical and essential city-provided services. The plan contains standard operating procedures for critical city departments to follow and a Strategic Investment Plan that identifies and prioritizes needed infrastructure to allow a minimum of 72 hours of independent operation should a long-term energy disruption occur.
