Building Audit, Retrofit & Renewable Rebates
Save-A-Watt provides rebates for energy assessment and upgrades of homes and commercial building to help lower energy bills! Always wanted a small-scale renewable energy system? In addition to energy efficiency upgrades, Save-A-Watt also helps make that possible by offering a total of nine $2,000 rebates through 2013 to those participants that get an audit, implement retrofits and also install a renewable energy system.
This part of the Challenge includes a whole bunch of community workshops, presented free of charge, that will cover solar, geothermal and small scale wind systems as well as energy efficiency improvements and existing financial programs to help pay for efficiency upgrades. Workshop attendees get a free CFL bulb!
